Miss Elizabeth Catherine Irmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Irmer, of 125 Fillmore street, and Joseph F. Powers, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Powers, of Perth Amboy, were married in New York City at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The attendants were Miss Rose Uhrler, of Easton, and James Martin, of New York. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Powers left on a wedding trip to Boston and Niagara Falls. The bridgegroom was formerly a sergreant [sic] in the New Jersey Militia, at Perth Amboy, and upon his discharge enlisted in the Naval Aviation Section. He expects to be called into service at any time. Upon their return from their weddring [sic] trip their friends will be received at the home of the parents of the bride.
