I PETER WILLEVER Senior of the Township of Franklin, County of Warren in the State of New Jersey, being of sound mind memory and understanding so help me god for the same. Do make and publish this my last and Will and Testament in manner following that is to say. 1st It is my will and I do order my just debts and finical expenses to be paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my absence. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife SARAH during her life the exclusive use of the two rooms on the western side or and of the dwelling house and use of ---. and --- and ---- for one cow also absolutely one bed bedstead & bedding, one gray oxcow to be selected by her, and the sum of five hundred dollars to be paid to her in one year from my decease, as follows to wit, two hundred dollars thereof in two months from my decease, and three hundred in twelve months from my decease also during this time she shall occupy said rooms but no longer, the following articles now in said room, one corner cupboard & ---, one stand, one cooking -- one carpet, one table, one chair, one tea plate & stove & pipe and one --- and bequeath to my wife to be in lieu of her dowry. Item I give and devise to my son WILLIAM during his life all my land containing about ninety acres adjoining land of PHILLIP WILLEVER and GODFREY CLINE in the Township of Franklin aforesaid and at his death I give and devise said land to my grandson PETER WILLEVER son of my son JOHN and PETER KINNEY son of my daughter ELIZABETH therein named and --- to be equally divided between them share and share alike in value. Item I give and devise to my son JOHN and his heirs and --- forever all that part of my farm between the land of DANIEL VLIET and the fence running from the Franklin Mansfield road along the north east side of the orchard to the line of PHILLIP WILLEVER, Providith if my son JOHN shall claim any charge against my estate for work or services henceforth rendered to or for me, then said devise to him shall be void and he shall receive nothing. Item I give and devise to my son JOSEPH and his heirs and --- forever all the land of my farm between the land hereby devised to my son JOHN , and a line running from a --- --- about ninety paces northwest of the spring house above the public road, hence in a straight line west of the spring house--- with the partition fence running north and northeast of the orchard late of PEGGY CONOVER and by said partition fence to land late of said PEGGY CONOVER. Item I give and devise to my son CHRISTOPHER and to his heirs and ---forever, all that part of my farm between the land hereby devised to my son JOSEPH, and a line running from land late of PEGGY CONOVERS adjoining to and southwest of the orchard and home now occupied by the widow LAIN being a partition fence, by partition fence in a straight line to road. Item I give and devise to my son ELISHA and to his heirs and --- forever all that part of my farm between the land hereby devised to my son CHRISTOPHER and a line running from a stone heap in the line of JOHN J WILLEVER hence by the fence as it runs along the edge of the woodland and west of the clearing to land of ELISHA WILLEVER hence by line of said ELISHA to the partition fence between my land and land of said ELISHA. Hence by said partition fence in a straight line to corner of land of JOHN J WILLEVER adjoining land late of PEGGY CONOVER. Item I give and devise my aforesaid woodland to my sons JOHN, JOSEPF, CHRISTOFER, ELISHA, their heirs and -- forever share and share alike. Item I give and bequeath to my daughter BARBRARA, one cow and one bed bedstead and bedding to be selected by her and the sum of six hundred dollars in three equal yearly payments with interest, the first payment thereof to be in one year from my decease. Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth six hundred dollars in three equal yearly payments with interest, the first payment thereof to be in one year from my decease. Item It is my will that my personal property shall be converted into cash by public --- and the proceeds thereof to be equally divided among my sons CHRISTOPHER, JOHN, ELISHA, JOSEPH, share and share alike, except my clothing which I give to my sons ELISHA, & JOHN. It is my will that my Executors put up at my grave a marble grave stone with a suitable inscription ---. Item I give to my daughter BARBRARA my family Bible. Item I give bequeath and devise all the rest and remainder of my estate real and personal and --- to my children share and share alike, Item It is my will that my son JOSEPH shall pay four hundred dollars of said Legacy to my daughter BARBRARA and place promptly ---- furnish to my wife SARAH during the time she resides in the dwelling--- --- for one year. Item It is my will that my son JOHN shall pay two hundred dollars of the Legacy hereby bequeath to my daughter BARBRARA and that the lands hereby devised to him be separately charged with the payment of the same until paid. Item It is my will that my son CHRISTOPHER pay four hundred dollars of said Legacy to my daughter ELIZABETH and that my son ELISHA pay two hundred dollars of said Legacy to my daughter ELIZABETH and that the lands thereby devised to them be separately charged with the same until paid. Item It is my will that the bequest of five hundred dollars to my wife SARAH be paid by my sons CHRISTOPHER, JOHN, ELISHA, and JOSEPH, in equal proportions and that the lands hereby devised to them be separately charged with the same until paid. Item It is my will that my sons CHRISTOPHER, JOHN, ELISHA, and JOSEPH furnish to my wife SARAH at the dwelling house so long as she shall reside therein and my widow, as much firewood as she may need, cut suitable for burning in the stove, and the land hereby devise to them be charged with the same. Lastly I hereby appoint my sons JOSEPH and ELISHA executors of this my last will and Testament. Hereby declaring all former wills by me ---- made as ---.
