Dead of a bullet wound between the shoulder blades and a bullet through the arm is Joseph Milcher, 27, of 3613 Lombardy NW. Booked into city jail on suspicion of murder is Charles L. Sedillo, 21, 2016 William SW, who was arrested at the scene, police said. A third man, Burton A. Turner, 23, who reportedly is staying at 3613 Lombardy NW, was booked on suspcion of drunkenness, and is being held as a material witness. The three apparently were riding in a car driven by Turner when they had a flat tire in front of Sedillo's residence, investigating officers said. Turner reportedly began changing the tire, while Milcher and Sedillo walked around the vicenity. The victim reportedly had the gun stuck in his belt at this time, police said. Then some sort of quarrel and scuffle ensued, and Milcher was shot, police said. Milcher apparently was alive when officers first arrived, as the original ambulance call was cancelled, police said. Then an ambulance and rescue unit were called when the victims breathing became irregular, police said. The victim died a short time later. Police are still looking for the gun, said to be a Luger-type .22 caliber pistol, late Sunday night. Harrison primer tests to determine who might recently have fired a gun were administered to all three men, police said. The body of the victim was taken to Bernalillo County-Indian Hospital for an autopsy and the Harrison primer test, police said. Detectives were questioning two girls late Sunday who apparently were with the men earlier in the evening. Investigation into the incident is contiuing.
