NEWMAN----Emery A. Newman, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, died 
Monday January 4, 1988.  He is survived by his wife, Wanita Newman of 
Albuquerque, New Mexico; his son, Donald R. Newman and his wife Joanne of 
Chickasha, Oklahoma; his daughter, Christy Pickett and her husband Steve of 
Albuquerque, New Mexico; his four Grandchildren, Julie Hern, Donna Kay Hayes, 
Neale Pickett, and Barbara Pickett; his four Great-Grandchildren, Daniel, 
Jeffrey, Angela and David, and his sister, Irene Hinton of El Paso, Texas.  He 
was a retired Building Contractor and was a member of First Church of Christ 
Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts.  Services will be held tomorrow at 10:30 
AM in French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.  A private 
interment will follow.  Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. 
Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, today from 3:00 to 9:00 PM.  In lieu of 
flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First 
Church of Christ Scientist, 500 Richmond Pl. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 
87106.  French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE is in 
charge of the arrangements.

Emery Atlas Newman was buried in Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, 
Bernalillo Co., NM.  Please post there.
