THOMAS C. TILLOTSON.

  Thomas C. Tillotson, Register U. S. Land Office, (Repub.). Born March 11,
1853, Boone Co., Ills., son of O. R. and Martha Tillotson. Educated public
schools Boone County. High school Clinton Junction, Wis. Was graduate Commercial
College, Chicago, 1871. Engaged in hardware business Chicago until 1875. Came to
N. M., Feb., 1876, locating in Colfax Co. In 1877 moved to Lincoln Co. and
engaged in cattle business until 1908. Receiver Y. O. Cattle Outfit, Lincoln
Co., 1889-1893. Census Enumerator, Lincoln Co., 1880. Probate Clerk same, 1882.
P. M. Lincoln, 1882. Probate Judge Lincoln Co., 1895-97. Appointed Register U.
S. Land Office with headquarters Roswell, Dec, 1908. Is a Mason, Royal Arch
Mason and Elk. Roswell, N. [sic]
