As of August 18, 1994 Emmett B. Fulkerson (Mrs. Glen Franklin, of House, NM, says that this is her dad's Grandfather, and says her mom, Sallie W. Davis, had written down the date 6-17-1911 and assumed it was his death date. This information came 8-27-1991.) Isaac A. Barkley, 1876-1907 Mrs. Ellis (Martha F.) Barkley, 1878 to July 10, 1909 Hershel Bradshaw, age 2 years, 2 months, choked, Nov. 1908 William Delbert Cherry, 1916 Lawrence Vern Clyde Clawson, 1897 to March 27, 1909; 11 years, 6 months old (son of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Clawson) William F. Herrin, 1871-1913 Clarica Keeney Hill, 72, Sept. 17, 1910 Clarisa Calinda Keeney, 1838-1910 (daughter of Ursula Ray and Andrew Keeney) Mark Hanna Pace, died circa 1909M. Lesley, no date Mattie Page, no date (aunt of the late Tom Weir) Mark E. Smith Elisha Smith, wife of Mark E. Smith Rufus Waymond Smith, (brother of Mark E.Smith) (The three Smith's names above given by granddaughter of Mark E. Smith, Dorothy Harral, 12-26-1990. She was 6 years old in 1924 when her family moved to California. The above burials were before 1924. She also states that some cousins may be buried in Blacktower Cemetery too.) "Boy Evins", 1907 (Mary Louise Jones of Clovis says "Boy" Evins, who died in 1907 is also buried in the Blacktower Cemetery. Her mother later married "Uncle Tom Smith", a brother of the above Mark E. Smith.) This information came in 4-8-1991. Brantley, Feb. 7, -1908 A. F. Hall, 20 years old, Feb. 7, 1908 Charles J. Roberts, 24 years old, died of typhoid fever, April 31, 1908, born Oct. 30, 1881. W. R. Salyer, 44, died of gunshot wound, June 22, 1908, place of death: 7 miles north of Blacktower. (Probably meant 7 miles west, as homestead was west of Grier. He and W. F. Jones, below, who had a homestead next to Jone, shot each other over an argument about a fence or gate with J. W. Elliott trying to settle the argument. Haney Tate of Ranchvale says Mr. Elliott ducked just as both men fired their shotguns. This information came 8-14-1994.) Land deed records show the name was spelled "Sallier". W. F. Jones, no age given, died of gunshot wound, June 22, 1908, place of death: 7 miles north of Blacktower. Fobert Farris, June or July, 1908. Norma Dodson, 2 years old, July 17, 1908. Bruce, 5 years, 6 months old, April 25, 1909. Lola Dunbar, 31, April 13, 1909. Infant Dilingham, 14 days, August 14, 1909. Infant Butts, premature, July 25, 1910. Walter Hileman, 4 months, 11 days, July 12, 1910 (This twin and his sister Lottie Hileman (below) were born 2-19-1910, and were children of Charles Perry and Fannie Bell Hileman, brother and sister of Sallie W.
