Evening News Journal 9-10-1930
W. M. Navine, who has been in poor health for several years, passed away at the 
family home five miles northeast of Melrose last Saturday morning. Mr. Nevine 
was one of the pioneer settlers of this locality and enjoyed the respect of 
confidence of all who knew him. He leaves a wife and one daughter. The funeral 
services were conducted Sunday afternoon.

Additional Comments:
I beleive this is the obit of William M. NEVINS as the date of death is close 
to what I've been told. 
Since the keyboard "e" and "s" are next to each other, but on different lines, 
I beleive Nevine is a typo for Nevins
