JAKE M. BRUTON
Graveside services are at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 1999, 
at Twin Oaks Memorial Park, for Jake M. Bruton of 
1201 W. Merchant.  Bruton, 90, died on August 26, 1999 at his
home.  He was born on February 6, 1909, in Comanche, Texas,
to Samuel Jefferson Bruton and Rosetta Janetta (Waggner)
Bruton. He married Opal Hill on October 19, 1941, in Stockton,
California.  He moved to Artesia from Carlsbad in 1967.
