Chapman, 58, died November 11, at his home of brain cancer. He was born March 4, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Marion and O.C. Chapman. Survivors include sons Baker, wife Amber, Brice, Blane and Brandon Chapman, all of Lubbock; sister Sarah Webb, husband Rodney, of Artesia; three nieces, including Hayley Snow and Sue Webb, both of Artesia; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Marion and O.C. Chapman of Artesia and sister Sue Snow of Auburn, Wash.
