From: patti pennington ************************************************************ The following excerpts were taken from page 8 - The Artesia (NM) Daily Press - November 2, 1999 DEW Services are scheduled for November 3, at Heritage Memorial Chapel in Waco, Tex., for former Artesia resident Jimmy Stuart Dew of Hewitt, Texas. Dew, 64, died on October 30 at his residence. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. He was born on February 6, 1935, in Artesia to James Franklin Dew and Averille Stuart Dew. He served in the US Army and attended First Baptist Church of Woodway. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Dew of Hewitt; mother Averille Dew of Artesia; daughter Shelli Sellers, husband Rob, of Robinson, Tex.; stepdaughters Barbara Locke of Deep River, Conn., Linda Valenta of Palo Alto, Calif., and Carolyn Locke of Fremont, Calif.; stepson David Locke of Pocatello, Idaho; sisters Yvonne Polk and Connie Lewis, both of Artesia; brother John Dew of Artesia; and eight grandchildren.
