Richardson, Space 6, Artesia. Huffman, 72, died on December 25 at Covenant Medical in Lubbock, Texas. Cremation will be under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary. He was born on September 1, 1927, in Dayton, NM, to Joe Floyd Huffman and Willie (Adam) Huffman. He married Eunice Poston on November 7, 1975, in Anson, Texas. He was a member of the Church of Christ and served in WWII. He is survived by his wife, Eunie Huffman of the family home; sons Jerry McGuairt of Fort Stockton, Texas, and Tim James, wife Susan, of Artesia; daughters Pat Eaker, husband Clint, of Artesia and Wynona Cross of Albuquerque, NM; sister Barbara Horn of Gillespie, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Grace Huffman, and a sister, Rose Katherine Whygles.
