Kuettner of Georgetown, Ga. Kuettner, 81, died on November 17 at Lakeview Community Hospital in Eufaula. He was born on July 5, 1918, in Comfort, Tex., to Lydia Drees and Max Kuettner. He was a US Army veteral of WWII. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He lived in Artesia from 1960 to 1980. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Kuettner of Georgetown, Ga.; daughter Lydelle Morris of Georgetown; sons Howard Drees Kuettner, Jr. of Athens, Ala., and Paul Richard Kuettner of Buena Vista, Va.; sister Easter Burton of Colorado Springs, Colo.; eight grand- children and 11 great-grandchildren.
