Compress Road. KARR, 82, died September 13 at the Artesia Good Samaritan Center. Burial will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Park in Artesia. She was born May 20, 1917, in Jacksboro, TX, to Earl Weaton Brisco and Jackie Marie (Hill) Brisco. She married S.G. Karr in Deming, NM, on September 20, 1948. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Artesia. Survivors include her husband of the family home; sons Sam Karr and Tony Karr of Artesia and Ranger Karr of Williams, AZ; daughters Jo Ann Brisco of Midland, TX, Mickey Casey of Las Cruces, NM, and Janis Karr of El Paso, TX; brother Buck Brisco of Canutillo, TX; sisters Lucille Hutchinson, Roberta Williams, Alma Doiser and Delma Mae Smith, all of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild, and a sister, Pearl A. Foster.
