OWENS
Services are pending with Terpening & Son Mortuary for Artesia
resident Nellie F. Owens of Lakeview Christian Home in 
Carlsbad, NM.  OWENS, 88, died on Saturday at Lakeview Christian
Home.

OWENS
Services are scheduled Wednesday, September 15 at First Baptist
Church for NELLIE F. OWENS of 1003 N. 15th Street.  OWENS, 88,
died on September 11 at Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, NM.
Interment will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Park in Artesia.
She was born August 15, 1911 in Galena, KS, to LeRoy Van Noy
and Lydia Melvina (Hodson) Noy. She was divorced.  She was a
member of First Baptist Church in Artesia.  Survivors include
sons Raydean Owens, wife Verna, of Artesia, Lynn Owens, wife
Virginia, of Pecos, TX, Ronald Owens of Detroit and John Owens,
wife Lynn, of Artesia; daughters Arlean Green of Artesia and
Judith Carol Philips of Gibsonton, FL.  She was preceded in
death by her parents, and son Waynen F. Owens in 1962.
