Salgado of Roswell. Salgado, 69, died October 20 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Roswell. Salgado was born December 3, 1929, in Pilares, Ojinaga, Mexico, to Blass and Micoela Trujillo Salgado. He married Aurora Morrison in Artesia on December 12, 1951. She preceded him in death in 1995. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Survivors include son Manuel Salgado, wife Natalie, of Roswell; daughters Jane Peralta, husband David, of Germany, Sylvia Kowals, husband Jim, of Oklahoma, and Teresa Reyer, husband Tony, of Las Cruces, NM; brothers Salvador Salgado, Arthur Salgado and Joe Salgado, wife Emma, of Artesia; and sisters Sophia Ramirez, Stella Jones, Eva Abbott, Frances Smith and Sally Brito; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Blass Salgado, Jr.
