WINGFIELD
A memorial service was November 13 at the home of Jimmy E. Collier
at 316 W. Dallas, for Martha Elizabeth King Wingfield.  Wingfield,
88, died on October 27 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Santa Fe, NM.
She was born July 7, 1911, in Ireland, Tex., and moved with her
family to Artesia in 1929.  Survivors include sisters Molly K. Barker
and Jimmy E. Collier both of Artesia; brother George F. "Tony"
King Jr. of Artesia; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was
preceded in death by parents Leota E. and George King Sr.; son
George Frank Wingfield; and husband Edward F. Wingfield, all of
Artesia.
