Clapp of Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, NM. Clapp, 94, died on January 8 at Lakeview. He was born on November 21, 1905, near Belton, Texas, to John Boston Clapp and Susie (Jones) Clapp. He married his first wife, Anna, in 1957 in Roswell, NM. She preceded him in death in 1978. He married Ruby Madron in 1987 in Seminole, Texas. She preceded him in death on August 22, 1991. Clapp moved to Artesia in 1959 from Weed, NM. He was raised in Tennessee. He is survived by a brother, E.L. Clapp of Farmington, NM; sister-in-law Pat Clapp of California; and numerous nieces and nephews. (Photo shown of Clapp)
