(NM) Daily Press - February 3, 2000

HUNTER
Services are scheduled for February 4, at the Artesia High
School Auditorium for Reese Kyle Hunter of Artesia.  Hunter,16,
died February 1 in Artesia.  The service will be closed casket, 
with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery.  He was born
February 4, 1983, in Artesia, the son of Albert Wesley (Bo) Hunter
and Kristy Lynne (Stewart) Hunter.  He was a junior at Artesia
High School.  He was a lifelong resident of Artesia.  He was a
member of the church families of First United Methodist Church
and First Baptist Church; Fellowship of Christian Athletes,
Artesia High School Football Team; Artesia High School Golf Team;
and National Honor Society.  Survivors include mother Kristy
Hunter and fiance Jay Powell of Artesia; father Bo Hunter of
Artesia; brothers, Bryan Hunter of Artesia and Justin Powell of
Dexter; sister Jamie Powell of Artesia; grandparents Maurice and
Joyce Stewart and LaVerne Clarkston, all of Artesia; and numerous
