HORNE
At a later date, there will be a private family service for 
interment of Leonard Horne Jr., 76, who died at his home on
January 27.  Cremation has taken place.  Denton-Funchess Funeral
Home is in charge of arrangements.  He was born December 27, 1923,
in Carlsbad to Leonard Anderson and Myrtle Edna Taylor Horne Sr.
He graduated from Carlsbad High School and attended the University
of Texas.  He served in the Army during WWII.  He was preceded in 
death by a niece, Donna Sue Hyatt, in July 1987.  Survivors include
a sister, Sybil Black of Carlsbad; half-brother, Walter Lunsford of
Carlsbad; and two nieces.
