MCGILL
A memorial service is January 15 at West Main Baptist Church
in Artesia for former Artesia resident Marvin Lee McGill of
Millersview, Texas.  McGill, 55, died on January 11 after a
battle with cancer.  He was born on July 22, 1944, to Alvin 
Austin McGill and Flora Temple Hamilton in Stockton, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by
his wife, Ellen, of the home; son Ted, of Carslbad, NM; daughter,
Marjorie Leitch of Farmington, NM; sisters Patsy Lott of
Haywood, Okla., and Twyla Young of Crowder, Okla.; and seven
grandchildren.
