NETHERLIN
Services are January 14, at First Christian Church, 1006 W.
Bullock, for Raymond B. Netherlin of Artesia.  Netherlin, 87, 
died on January 9 in McAllen, Texas.  He was born on April 18,1912
in Tularosa, NM to Albert and Mary Cole Netherlin.  He moved to
Artesia in 1928.  He was a WWII veteran who served in Africa,
Italy and France.  He married Frances Emmons on February 17, 1946.
He was a rancher.  He is survived by his wife, Frances of the home;
son Bill Netherlin, wife Pat, of Artesia; sister Jean Fallin of 
McAllen; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews.  He was
preceded in death by his parents; brothers Alton Netherlin and
Loyd Netherlin; and sister Opal Lee.
