Spicer, 82, on February 4, at Fairview Memorial Park in Albuquerque, NM. She died January 31. Bill Eisenhour Funeral Homes of Oklahoma City and Del City, Okla., is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 1, 1917, in Grandfield, Okla. She taught special education in Carlsbad and taught sign language at New Mexico State University at Carlsbad. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Spicer and a brother, Leon Chambers. Survivors include children, Gale Spicer of Wellston, Okla., Grace Wallace of Grants and Mable Michael of Globe, Ariz.; brothers, Johnny Chambers of Southwest City, Missouri, Leo Chambers of Grove, Okla., and Tommy Chambers of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Martha E. Owens of Joplin, Mo., and Lucy Schrank of New Braunfels, Texas; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. (Photo shown of Spicer)
