Stinnett. Stinnett, 94, died February 7 in El Paso, Texas. Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia. Burial will be with Masonic Graveside Rites. Stinnett was born February 23, 1905, in Portales, NM, the son of Samuel Henry Stinnett and Mary Jane Stinnett. He married Helen Green on May 25, 1932, in Artesia. She preceded him in death on August 3, 1997. His professional life was spent in the field of education. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was a Worth Grand Patron Order of Eastern Star for the state of New Mexico in 1947-48 and served as Watchman of the Shepherds for White Shrine of Jerusalem. Survivors include a son Arba Stinnett of Novato, Calif.; a daughter Rosemary Harral of Golden, Colo.; three granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and one grandson.
