(NM) Daily Press - February 1, 2000

SANDERS
Graveside services are February 2, at Hagerman Cemetery for
for Ray Davis Sanders of Hagerman, NM.  Sanders, 80, died at
his home on January 30.  He was born on September 6, 1919, in
Nocona, Texas, to Nannie Payne Sanders.  He married Mary
Lichlyter on January 29, 1953, in Roswell, NM.  She preceded him
in death as well as his parents and a son, Danny Sanders.  He
served in the US Navy during WWII.  Survivors include daughters
Debra Meinke of Artesia and Dorothy Austill of Texas; brothers
Alvin Sanders of Roswell and Lacy Sanders of Oklahoma City; and
six grandchildren.
