The Artesia (NM) Daily Press - September 15, 2009 - Pg. 8
Services were held September 14, 2009 at Country Club Road Church of Christ in 
Roswell, NM.  A graveside was held today at Garza County Cemetery in Post, 
TX.  He was born March 23, 1939 in Lubbock, TX to J.D. and Vada Lee 
McCampbell.  He grew up on a farm near Post.  He married Barba Nell Gaines in 
La Mesa, CA on December 20, 1959.  They moved to Roswell in 1974.  He is 
survived by his wife; a sister Judy Bush and her husband Jerry of Post; sons 
Jim and wife Amanda of Artesia, NM and Eric and wife Theresa of Springs, TX; a 
daughter Laura Smith of Roswell; and eight grandchildren.
