RIVAS/HERNANDEZ 
Janelle Hernandez and Avelardo Rivas Jr. were married December 11, 1999, 
at the Total Fitness Center. The bride is the daughter of Joe 
and Barbara Hernandez of Carlsbad. The groom is the son of 
Avelardo and Lisa Rivas Sr. of Carlsbad. Matron of honor was 
Josselle Hernandez, sister of the bride. Best man was Gabe Rivas, 
brother of the groom. Joe Hernandez, brother of the bride, was a 
groomsman. The couple lives in Carlsbad. (Wedding photo shown)
