  EAST LAS VEGAS. (See also Las Vegas.). Pop 3,500. San Miguel county. The
county seat and an incorporated city on the A T & S F Ry 50 miles s e of Santa
Fe the capital. Has a commercial club, a splendid water plant and electric
railway. The State Normal University is located here with a high school giving
the best of educational facilities. Has four banks, churches of all
demominations and the best of hotel accommodations. One daily and two weekly
