MARES, JOSEPH JULIAN, son of Joseph Antonio Mares and Ana Antonia Rodriguez of Santa Fe. Farmer,
5'3" age 25. Black hair and eyebrows, swarthy skin heavy coarse beard. 5 May 1746. Signed. On
invalid roster 1 July 1779. 

MARES, MANUEL, son of Nicolas Mares and Josepha Vargas of Santa Fe. Farmer, 5'3" age 31. Black hair,
eyebrows and beard, ruddy skin. 27 Oct 1772 in place of Juan Joseph Duran. Signed by mark. Lost left
eye in the line of duty. On invalid roster 22 Feb 1798.
