Percy Sittingbull
Percy Sittingbull, 38, of Picuris Pueblo, died at Embudo Hospital last week of 
pneumonia, the governor of the pueblo announced. Memorial services were held at 
his pubelo home Saturday Morning, before the body was taken to Clinton, Okla. 
for burial. Percy was a native of Eagle City, Okla. Rev. Porfirio Romero of the 
Dixon Presbyterian Church and Rev. Magnus V. Gonnesen, Baptist missionary, 
officiated at the rites. Survivors include his widow, three children: Franklin, 
13; Enola, 5 and Allan, 3; a sister Mrs. Jennie Miller, Clinton; a brother 
Stacey Sittingbull, Clinton; and a brother-in-law William Tabor, one of the 
chiefs of the Arapahoe tribe in Okla.
