She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Martha was a graduate of Belen High School. She worked at Circle K in Belen for several years. She then moved on to work for the Giant Corporation as clerk in the Los Lunas store and then went on to work at the Isleta Gaming Palace until her illness. She loved her husband, Robbin, with all her heart, and her son, Matt and his girlfriend, Michelle and her grandson, Marcos, who lit up her life with joy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Flora Ornelas and one sister, Josephita "Josie" Niedens. Martha survived by her husband of 12 years, Robbin; her son, Matt and his girlfriend, Michelle; and her loving grandson, Marcos, all of Los Lunas. She also leaves behind her dear brothers and sisters, Simon Ornelas and his wife, Bertha; Arthur Ornelas and a special friend, Mike Frelander; Odie Davis; and Connie Montoya and her husband, Tony. He was a member of the Belen Moose Lodge and of the Del Rio Senior Citizens, where he was an avid pool player. He loved watching sports on television, especially boxing and football. Her principal station as a Harvey Girl was the Alvarado Hotel in Albuquerque where she met Norman Kerr, a locomotive fireman and engineer with the Santa Fe line, whom she married in 1927. Elizabeth was a long time resident of Gal1up where she was active in many civic organizations. After retirement and a six-year sojourn to Lake Isabella, Calif., she settled in Los Lunas in 1977. Elizabeth moved to Los Alamos in February 2000 to be near her family. She was a member of Peralta United Methodist Church and First Congregational Church of Gallup. Reginald was an undergraduate from Northern Arizona University and a Ph.D. graduate from Berkeley, Calif. He was very active in the arts community, serving on the Arts Alliance Board in Albuquerque. He sang with the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra and was a past president of that organization. Reginald performed in Opera Southwest and Musical Theater Southwest. He also sang in several productions in the Washington, D.C., area. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Margaret Rodriguez; and three brothers, James, Edward and Ray. He was 87 years old and had been a teacher, a principal and a superintendent and had lived all over New Mexico. He has had business interests that include real estate, insurance and politics. The only one of the children in his family to finish high school and obtain a master's degree from Eastern New Mexico University, he dedicated his life to the development and educational improvement of all young, as evidenced by over 50 years of service in public education as an administrator and teacher. Flo and her late husband, Hank, founded the Belen Bottling Company, "Hub City Pop," in 1961. Flo was an excellent cook and hostess to her many family members and friends. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed a challenging game against her husband and sons. They raised their children in Dolores, Colo., until moving the family to Albuquerque in 1958, then relocating to Bosque Farms in 1969. She used her artistic talents as a confectioner, an accordion player and a painter to brighten the lives of those who knew her. She was a strong-spirited women whose love of family, gardening and painting was surpassed only by her love of the Lord, her family wrote. Visitation was held Friday, April 27, at French Mortuary.
