The town has a population of 500 and surrounded by the great Nevada-Wonder, Jack-Pot Grand View, National Wonder, Vulture and Spider-Wasp mines, all active producers. Has a live newspaper, the "Hercules Miner", a good hotel, livery and merchandise store.
