                              Hercules

A flourishing mining town situated in the center of the famous Wonder
mining district, near the central part of Churchill County, about 65 miles
east of Fallon, the county seat and shipping station, and about 10 miles 
southwest of Wonder, the nearest banking point. The town has a population
of 500 and surrounded by the great Nevada-Wonder, Jack-Pot Grand View, 
National Wonder, Vulture and Spider-Wasp mines, all active producers. Has
a live newspaper, the "Hercules Miner", a good hotel, livery and merchandise 
store. Has long distance telephone to Hazen and Fairview, a good automobile
line and stage to Fallon, fare $15.00
