J. Freeman is Called Wealthy Young Fallon Man Dies at San Francisco Hospital After Operation Ernest J. Freeman, a wealthy young sheepman and rancher of Churchill county; died in a San Francisco hospital this morning. The funeral arrangements have not yet been made, but he will probably be buried at Woodland, Cal., his former home before coming to Nevada. Ernest J. Freeman was the son of one of the pioneer stockman of Churchill county and owned a vast estate near Stillwater. He was about thirty years of age and had been married for several years, having taken as his bride one of the daughters of Senator W.W. Williams of Churchill county, who is now in Chicago at the Republican national convention, as a delegate from Nevada. Mr. Freeman was taken with appendicitis some time ago and went to San Francisco to have an operation performed. He was apparently recovering when he was suddenly taken with a relapse and death claimed him. He was one of the wealthy men of Churchill county.
