He was a lifetime resident of Clark County. A retired farmer, he was born Dec. 24, 1893, in Bunkerville, and was a merchant and owner of the first power company in Moapa Valley. He is survived by his sons, Elwyn of Logandale and Keith of Las Vegas; daughters, Ila Winsor of Logandale and Colleen Nelson of Salt Lake City; brother, Leland of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Frehner Funeral Home, Logandale, and one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Thursday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Logandale. Burial will be in Logandale cemetery.
