MARGARET ALESSANDRA Local resident Margaret Alessandra, 84, passed away 
peacefully Feb. 8, 2011, at Nathan Adelson Hospice. Our mother touched many 
people in a deep and profound way. Many contributed funny and touching 
stories, photos and recipes at www.MargaretAlessandra.com Viewing will be from 
10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Feb. 12, with memorial service following, both at Palm 
Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Margaret was a strong advocate of education, 
often offering to pay tuition for her children's friends. So, in lieu of 
flowers, a donation can be made payable to Margaret and Victor Alessandra 
Scholarship Fund, Univ. of Notre Dame, Western Regional Development Office, 
7855 Ivanhoe Ave., Suite 224, La Jolla, CA 92037.
