DIED

ARCHIBALD:  In Los Angeles, California, Monday, August 25, 1913, Gerald 
ARCHIBALD, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. ARCHIBALD of this city.
The funeral services were held from the chapel of Overholtzer & Sons, 
corner of Pico street and Grand avenue, Los Angeles, Thursday. A sad 
feature of the case is the fact that death came on the lad's twelfth 
birthday.
    The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their 
sorrow, even though the little one may have found in death a welcome 
relief from a life of suffering.
