THEODORE BANKS Theodore "Ted" Harvey Banks, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 
7, 2011. He was born Jan. 22, 1936, in Iron River, Mich. Ted was employed as a 
security guard with S.O.A. Ted married Leona Mae Mackey May 29, 1957 and moved 
to Nevada from Michigan in 1981. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, 
Theodore and Evelyn Banks. Ted is survived by his sons, Bob Banks of 
Bridgeport, Mich., and Gary Allen Banks of Las Vegas; daughters, Betty Banks 
(Dan Burt) of Bridgeport, and Mary Ann Banks (Hal Summers) of Holly, Mich.; 
eight grandkids; six great-grandkids; one brother, John; and two sisters, 
Laura and Margaret. Viewing will be 1-3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, with services 
following, both at Hites Funeral Home, 438 W. Sunset Road.
