Born March 29, 1976, in Las Vegas, he was a fun-loving and beloved young man. A graduate of Clark High School, he was very well-respected and loved by his local community and especially at Opportunity Village, where he proudly worked for 15 years. James was a very caring and thoughtful person who often created handmade thank- you cards for people who assisted him. His influence was from his heart and spirit. James loved spending his weekends with his family and was a dedicated player of Miracle League baseball. He was an avid sports fan, especially supporting the New York Yankees, Oakland Raiders and the Miami Heat. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Barbara; sister, Sybrina; and brother, John. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 21, at Opportunity Village, 6050 S. Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in James' memory to Opportunity Village.
