He was a 39-year resident of Henderson. A retired chief petty officer in the Navy and veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he was born May 6, 1924, in New Haven, Conn., and was a retired employee for the CIA, member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, director of Henderson Senior Center from 1980-1985 and active in Growth Opportunities, Inc. and Catholic Community services in the 1970s. He is survived by his wife, Dolly; and sons Robert, Jr. and Richard, all of Henderson; daughters, Lynette Williamson of Port Washington, N.Y., Kathryn Bullard and Charlene Stephenson, both of Las Vegas and Nancy Gines and Stacey Bondurant, both of Henderson, sisters, Arlene Jones of Boulder City and 10 grandchildren. Visitation was scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, Henderson. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.
