The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ************************************************************************ LAS VEGAS AGE 10/2/1915 RAY BRADLEY MEETS DEATH FALLS FROM FREIGHT CAR AND IS CRUSHED BENEATH THE MOVING WHEELS Ray BRADLEY, seal clerk for the Salt Lake road in this city, was on the ladder of a freight car Thursday morning about 2 o'clock when another car was shoved against the one he was on. BRADLEY was thrown to the track by the force of the shock and the wheels of the moving car caught and terribly crushed him before the cars came to a stop. The injured man was taken on number seven to Los Angeles accompanied by Dr. John A. FULLER. At the Good Samaritan Hospital, he died on the operating table, Thursday night. The young man has been in the employ of the Salt Lake road for several years and was esteemed and respected. His death is deeply regretted by all.
