DIED SUDDENLY

    Mr. James W. BRITTON, father of Mrs. E. H. HUNTING, died suddenly at 
the Natick Hotel in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon, Jany. 14th., from 
heart failure.  He suffered the first attack about the Christmas 
holidays while at Monolith, Cal., but was soon able to be up most of the 
time.  He was being taken to the California Hospital in Los Angeles by 
Mr. and Mrs. HUNTING at the time of his death.  The interment was at 
Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles.
    Mrs. BRITTON returned to this city with Mrs. HUNTING and will make 
her home here.
