RODNEY BROWN Rodney Maurice Brown, 58, a 46-year resident of Las Vegas, sadly 
passed away June 8, 2013. He was born on Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, 
March 30, 1955, and moved to Las Vegas with his family in 1967. A 1973 graduate 
of Valley High School, he married his high school sweetheart, Diane Hutchens, 
in 1976. They were married for 31 years. Rodney is survived by four beautiful 
daughters, Stefanie Wright of Bothell, Wash.; Andrea Pellegrino of Marysville, 
Wash., who has given him two delightful grandchildren, Samantha and Lucas, whom 
he adored, Lizabeth Strini-Brown of Vienna, Austria, and DeeAna Hutchens Brown 
of Westminster, Colo. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Delores Brown, 
of Henderson; many nieces and nephews; and a wonderful extended family. An avid 
golfer and fisherman, Rodney loved spendind time outdoors in nature, he enjoyed 
music and socializing, and made new friends wherever he went. Memorial services 
for Rodney were 5-9 p.m. Friday, June 14, followed by a special service at 7 
p.m., both at Desert Shores Community Clubhouse, 2500 Regatta Drive, Las Vegas, 
NV 89128.
