Michael Buchynsky, 73, died Thursday in a local hospital.  He was a three-year 
resident of Las Vegas.

A truck driver for a transport company, he was born April 9, 1914, in Olyphant, 
Pa., and was a member of St. Vladimir's Ukranian Church in Parma, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Ann and Daughter, Barbara Mathews, both of Las 
Vegas; son Jon of El Paso, Texas; sister, Mary Ols of Ohio; brother, Nick of 
California; and two grandchildren.

There are no local services.  Burial will be in Cleveland.  Palm Redrock 
Mortuary handled arrangements.
