BURNS, aged 42 years. The funeral services were held at Christ Episcopal church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Harry G. GRAY officiating. The deceased leaves a widow and six children to mourn his loss. The remains were prepared for shipment and forwarded to the old home near Evansville, Wisconsin, Wednesday evening, accompanied by the widow and children. Mr. BURNS has been a resident of Las Vegas for about three years, having taken up his residence here in hopes of securing relief from the dread white plague. His fight against disease was a heroic one, but for some weeks past the end was seen to be near. In spit of all that could be done death called the sufferer early Tuesday morning. Mrs BURNS and the children will remain in Wisconsin during the summer, but will probably return to this city in the fall.
