Joyce Carlisle, 85, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005. 
She was born Aug. 28, 1920, in Evansville, Ind., and was a Nevada resident 
since 1940. Joyce was a retired food and beverage waitress. She was an 
active member of Golden Nuggets and First Baptist Church. She was also 
a charter member of the Culanry Union. Joyce was preceded in death by 
her parents, Blanche (Armstrong) and George Doll; sons, Gary and David 
Carlisle; and husband, Lt. Elroy C. Carlisle, retired LVMP. She is 
survived by her daughter, _____________; and friend, ______________, 
both of Las Vegas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at Palm 
Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Park-Las 
Vegas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Alzheimers 
Association or a charity of choice.
