CHAMPENOY, aged 43 years. The deceased had been in poor health for some time, the gradual failure having dated from an attack of pneumonia last winter. He was born in Albany, New York, and for the last four years has been in business at Moapa. He has many warm friends in this section who sincerely regret his untimely end. The funeral services were held at the chapel yesterday afternoon and all that was mortel of a loyal soul was interred in the cemetery at the Old Ranch. An unusual feather of the sad affair is that he died on the anniversary of his birth. W. H. CHAMPENOY of Omaha, brother of the deceased, has been here the past week, and was with him at the time of his death. The funeral services were conducted by Geo. B. CLARK, who, in the absence of all ministers of the gospel, delivered a short, but very fitting address.
