SENATOR CLARK'S DAUGHTER DIED SUDDENLY IN MAINE



    The eighteen year old daughter of Senator W. A. CLARK died recently at

their summer home in Maine.  Senator CLARK and his brother, Mr. J. Ross

CLARK, were in Montana when word of her illness was received and Senator

CLARK immediately started for the east, but his daughter died while he was

enroute.  The remains were taken to New York for burial.  The young lady was

exceptionally talented and her father hoped soon to turn over the management

of his vast interests to her care.
