PETER Saturday last. ST. PETER was going through the old workings on the Ontora mine, presumably with a view to doing some work there. At the 60 foot level a drift runs out from the shaft and in this drift lay the body on its back as if in sleep. CLEMENT was last seen by his partner, Larry O'NEILL, on July 7th at the camp about eight or nine miles from where the body was found. He had been in poor health, suffering from miner's consumption. When he was missed the entire country was covered by searching parties, and the mine workings for several miles around were examined but no trace of the missing man was found and his fate has remained a deep mystery up to the time of finding the body. The deceased had relatives residing at Nampa, Idaho.
