Colquhoun Is Laid To Rest Edwin Howard Colquhoun, overseas veteran, who was killed at Silver City last Thursday night by Clarence Sage, was buried yesterday in a Reno cemetery. The services were held at the Groesbeck & O'Brien chapel and were largely attended, a majority of those present being from Silver City and Virginia City. Rev. Stanley Boggess, Episcopal minister at Sparks, read the Episcopalian burial service and two sacred solos were sung by Mrs. Hansard. Capt. W.H.B. Ryan and a squad of eight men formed an honorary escort, which accompanied the body to the cemetery, where a firing squad paid the last honors to the deceased comrade. Many and beautiful were the floral tributes which came from several points on the Comstock and from friends of the family in Sparks and Reno.
