DEATH OF FORMER GOODSPRINGS MAN

    Word has been received of the death of Joe CONWAY, a former well 
known Goodsprings man. He died as the result of a fall in a mine at 
Kimberley, near Ely in this state, but the particulars have not been 
received. The remains were buried at Caliente where his parents reside, 
Wednesday afternoon.
    The deceased was one of the active men of the camp, having worked a 
number of properties here. He was at one time in charge of the property 
of the Root Zinc Mining Company and also owned a lease on the Singer 
property, which he worked. He left Goodsprings last March.
