Born Jan. 2, 1923, in Newark, N.J., Mae resided in Las Vegas for over 55 years. She was dedicated to her career. In 1975, she started as a hostess at the Hilton Hotel. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to general manager of the Mamchen Deli and worked in that position until her retirement. Mae was kind, considerate, honest and hard working. She always gave of herself to others. She was loved and admired by all that knew her. Mae's home was always filled with family, friends, laughter, the aroma of great Italian food, her specialty being "Mamie's meatballs." Mae loved her poker games on Friday night and music. Mae was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She outlived all of her siblings and most of her generation of family and friends. Mae was preceded in death by her former husband, Nick Costanza; husband, Robert Gilbert; sons, Nickie Costanza and Jerry Costanza; and great-granddaughter, Ashley Gramza. Mae is survived by her daughters, Elaine Costanza and Michelle Natale; son-in-law, Phil Natale; daughter-in-law, Helen Costanza; grandchildren, Kim Carr, Gina Zitella, Kent Carr, Nichole McLaughlin and Philip Natale; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Costanza, Bianca Zitella, Mia Zitella, Michael White, Logan McLaughlin, Jeffery Meeh and the newest edition, Katie Carr. She will live in our hearts forever. Mae made a point to never say "goodbye" she insisted that we say "so long." "So long Mae, we love you." Eastern Ave. Additional Comments: The information provided for publication was provided by an outside source and is not proven to be correct File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/nv/clark/obits/costanza2285gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nvfiles/ File size: 2.5 Kb
